If you find yourself hungry in Lexington, NC, it’s time to rejoice. Here at our restaurant group, we offer great local cuisine that includes all your favorites, fresh and healthy ingredients, and a great place to relax with your loved ones.

As you enter the Tarheel Q restaurant, the first thing you’ll find is a plaque saying, “welcome family and friends.” This sign represents our commitment to hospitality above all else, and it’s reflected in our updated interior and in our dedication to producing authentic Lexington-style barbecue. You’ll come in for our authentic pit-cooked recipes, but you’ll come back because of the relaxed atmosphere that you can enjoy with the people you like the most.

With Arcadia Q, we were given the welcome challenge of maintaining an old favorite. When Roger and Lisa Lohr – the owners of what was once called Speedy Lohr’s BBQ – retired in 2018, they passed their restaurant on to us. We asked ourselves, “how can we add our personal touch to this restaurant without altering the things that made this place so great?”

We’re happy to inform you that all the changes we’ve made have been for the better. We now serve a delicious breakfast every day, and we’ve added a few pit-cooked recipes from TarHeel, but your favorite food is still going strong.
